You can shape the history of our nation!  We are days away from filing our amicus brief in Gonzales v. Carhart - Case No. 05-380 - arguably one of the most important pro-life cases to reach the Supreme Court of the United States since Roe v. Wade.

With the deadline swiftly approaching, I need your help for the final push.  There is still an incredible amount of research to be done in order for us to present the best case possible.

Give your generous tax-deductible gift today to enable our teams to give full attention to this pivotal pro-life Supreme Court case and make the absolute most of this God-given opportunity. (Go to ACLJ to donate.)

History is in the making.  If we win this Supreme Court case, partial-birth abortion will finally end in this country.

And what a sweet victory that will be!

This pro-life case represents the culmination of years of preparation, all your prayers, and all our work together on the issue of partial-birth abortion.

Millions of children have been denied the right to live through the legalization of abortion 30 years ago - and tens of thousands have suffered the horror of partial-birth abortion ... which is actually nothing short of the torture-killing of a baby as he or she is being born.

''The method of killing a human child - one cannot even accurately say an entirely unborn human child - proscribed by this statute is so horrible that the most clinical description of it evokes a shudder of revulsion.''
-Justice Antonin Scalia

And babies continue to be killed by this barbaric ''medical procedure'' every day.

Your secure online gift can help end the killing of innocent babies under the guise of this modus operandi so please give today to uphold the ban on partial-birth abortion!(Go to ACLJ to donate.)

All of the opposition - the National Abortion Federation, NARAL: Pro-Choice America, ACLU, Planned Parenthood, and the National Organization for Women - are pouring money into a multi-million-dollar abortion lobby.

They have done everything in their power to portray pro-life citizens as ''radical.''  But studies clearly show 70% of all Americans want to see partial-birth abortion banned.  This is not an extreme position - it is mainstream!

In fact, so mainstream that over 200,000 people have joined our Committee to Protect the Ban on Partial-Birth Abortion.

We will file our amicus brief encompassing the best possible argument for preserving the ban on this gruesome procedure.  This brief not only represents the interests of the ACLJ and its members, but 70 members of Congress as well.

But, Supreme Court briefs are time-consuming and expensive to prepare, and this case is exceptionally so.  The opposition is bringing an astonishing amount of money to the case - because the massive profits of the multi-million-dollar abortion industry hang in the balance.

Remember, the most recent partial-birth abortion case at the Supreme Court was lost by one vote - the ''swing vote'' of now-retired Justice Sandra Day O'Connor.  With the new Supreme Court, we have an opportunity to right that wrong!

Stand with us - as we head to the highest court in the land - by giving your gift today for the sake of the unborn children ... for the sake of our nation's moral health.

I need your strong financial help to research, prepare, and complete our amicus brief.  I hope we will hear from you soon.  Thank you!
