Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This is a photo of an exhibit at the Diaspora Museum, Tel Aviv - en:Beit Hatefutsot. Depicts the development of Jewish Oral law. The Note below the relief states: "The relief depics the development of the Oral Law as the course of a rive. It starts as a small stream (upper part of the exhibit) whose gentle flow gradually becomes a strong current in the spiritual landscape of the Jewish people (centre), eventually reaching the sea of the Halakha (lower part). The tributaries represent the contributions of the important sages, arranged in chronological order."
