File:Village sénégalais. Les Plongeurs, Exposition internationale d’Amiens, carte postale, 1906.jpg
[edit]Wrong name (not from Amiens 1906 but from Universal Exposition of 1889 in Paris, according to Afrikhepri) El Comandante (talk) 22:04, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
- Keep an incorrect name is not a valid reason for deletion. And I am not sure that afrikhepri is a reliable source for the analysis of this image.--Le Petit Chat (talk) 23:25, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
- Le Petit Chat OK, but for sure, it can't be a photo from 1958 (see the outfits of the European people, and the quality of the picture). El Comandante (talk) 23:51, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
- Found : it's from Liège 1905. El Comandante (talk) 23:54, 24 March 2021 (UTC)

- Agree with Petit Chat. The value of the source is not clear and the credits are not specific. The Paris 1889 attribution is contradicted by Radauer, who lists the postcard under Amiens 1906: https://humanzoos.net/?page_id=195 Brussels 1958 is just another mistaken attribution by the website where the file was taken from (part of exif data, not of Commons description). - I was wrong : it's form Amiens 1906 according to Achac research group's exposition Images et imaginaires des Suds à Amiens (1900-1914). El Comandante (talk) 00:08, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
Kept: per discussion. --P 1 9 9 ✉ 15:47, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
